Once again, the political world is buzzing about Sarah Palin. 10 months after John McCain’s ushered her on the national stage, the ambitious Alaska Governor abruptly exited the one elected office she’s ever held over a jurisdiction of more than 6,000 inhabitants. As was the case for much of the 2008 election, Palin remains an enigma. Her persona, her politics and her rhetoric could hardly be more predictable; but how can we not be continuously stunned by her ability to gather huge and adoring
by Eric Dondero Perhaps Sarah Palin will come up with some knock-out explanation for her dropping out yesterday, which would change my mind on things. But I doubt it. As one of her earliest supporters, and as one of the three original "Draft Sarah Palin for VP" people from 2007 (along with Stephen Maloney and Adam Brickly), I gotta say I was truly baffled and dejected by the whole press conference yesterday. Perhaps she's gunning for Lisa Murkowski's Senate seat. Murkowski sure seem to be reacting that way in a defensive press release
Putting on her old red campaigning suit caused an unstoppable urge to call a press conference, and, well, she had to announce something . Part of careful plan to capture the White House in 2012 by convincing Americans that she’s the leading incoherent, out of control Republican. She can see crazy from her backyard. That’ll show the world McCain made a great choice in picking her! Only way to exorcise those chain-rattling Ghosts of Machine-Gunned Moose Past. Bridge to Nowhere, meet Lea
